Across Louisiana, there are over 4,000 children in Foster Care. The Alexandria Region includes 8 parishes: Avoyelles, Catahoula, Concordia, Grant, Lasalle, Rapides, Vernon, & Winn. The estimated number of children in foster care in our region is over 400. Fostering Community is dedicated to improving the lives of these children.
